Canine Fitness &
Body Awareness
This course is a short introductory course that focuses on the foundational exercises to build body awareness and strength.
The benefits of Body Awareness and Proprioception can help prevent injuries, support weight management,
and provide mental stimulation.
Give your dog the gift of confident, controlled movement… because fitness isn’t just about muscles — it’s about how well your dog uses their body.
In this 4-week introductory course we dive into the foundations of canine fitness, teaching dogs how to move with intention, balance and coordination.
Through simple, structured exercises we help them understand where their feet are, how to shift their weight safely, and how to navigate the world with more confidence.
You’ll learn how to build strength, stability and flexibility in a way that supports your dog’s joints, reduces the risk of injury and improves overall performance — whether they’re a working gundog, a busy youngster, or a golden oldie who just needs a little help staying mobile.
It’s all about body awareness, mindful movement and helping your dog feel truly at home in their own skin… one small step, wobble board or pole walk at a time.
If you want a fitter, more balanced and better-coordinated dog — this is the place to start.
