We've recently completed pet gundog level 1 & we’re not sure who enjoyed it more us or the dog! We started the course as a bit of fun looking for something to drive Bessies energy into & got everything we expected & more. Lindsay’s passion for dogs & their training is obvious from the start. The atmosphere is relaxed & enjoyable, we looked forward to going each week 🤩  The activities & games are fun & engaging for you & your dog and something we use day to day on our walks. It really makes you appreciate how much time & effort it takes to have a well trained dog! We’re Looking forward to starting level 2

I cannot recommend Lindsay enough. Lindsay’s knowledge, patience & clear passion for her work never faltered. After each session you get an email to remind you what to practise & I’ve kept them all & still look back now & pick some exercises back up to re focus his attention. A little while ago I was still finding loose lead & heel work really difficult so we had some 121 sessions. I counted the number of times I had to stop when he pulled on our walk and it was 142! Lindsay notices things you never would and sometimes don’t even know you’re doing. Woody is now 1, far from perfect at loose lead but today we stopped 6 times!.. couldn’t have got there without her reminding me to be consistent, patient & to never give up!

Well that’s a wrap Level 1 Puppy course completed…. we have loved every minute!  The course is full of invaluable content, we have learnt so much and could not be happier with the progress Eva and I have made so far and already seeing the benefits in our day to day life.  The classes are not just informative they are fun too and it’s great to see all the puppies really enjoying training!  The venue has beautiful scenery and provides us the opportunity to train safely in a ‘real world’ setting!  Lindsay has a wealth of knowledge, extremely patient and always happy to help with support and guidance!  Thank you so much Lindsay we can’t wait to start Level 2.

We’ve recently finished our adolescence course with Lindsay. I can’t recommend Lindsay enough, 

Harley was a handful at first and i struggled to get any focus from her. By the end of the course, i was able to let her off the lead, keep her focus on me and I’ve gained confidence in her. 

We’ve both learnt so much. 

I will be looking at doing another course with Lindsay.

I have completed the puppy foundation course and currently part taking in the gundog foundations course with view to book onto grade 1. I couldn’t recommend Lindsay enough she is absolutely fantastic at what she does- a really kind lovely lady that always takes the time to answer any questions (and I always have loads 🤣) she is super knowledgeable and the courses are so much fun. My little pup Miley has come on leaps and bounds since we’ve been coming and it’s fantastic to see all the potential she’s got! 🖤

We have just finish our grade 2 course and from start to finish we have throughly enjoyed every minute. Tigs and I have learnt some much in the past three courses.

We’ve just completed the Level 1 Puppy course with our Springador puppy, Scout. We have been thrilled with Lindsay’s training from start to finish. Each session is a perfect mix of commands and good habits that can be transferred to all aspects of everyday life along with games and exercises that keep Scout happy and engaged. Even over Zoom, Lindsay’s explanations and demonstrations are clear and easy to follow and her support with troubleshooting specific challenges, both during and between sessions, has been so helpful - we’ve found it so satisfying to see Scout progressing so much over the last couple of months. We’ve genuinely looked forward to each session and can’t wait to get started on the Level 2 course!

Olive & I have completed two courses with Lindsay now - puppy level 2 & pet gun dog level 1 🌟  I cannot recommend Lindsay enough. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and passion is second to none. We have an incredibly well behaved 7month old puppy (whose breed is known for being a bit mental and having infinite bags of energy/getting bored quickly) and I owe 95% of that to these courses. There is a focus to tap into your dog‘s natural instincts, so the games and techniques just work and you can literally see your dog understanding the process and learning each week 🤩 there’s also no such thing as a stupid question and even behavioural ones Lindsay is happy to help and she just makes sense! 

We recently started the puppy training with our working cocker, Robbie. The sessions were over zoom due to covid restrictions but were still really engaging and enjoyable. Lindsay is an excellent trainer and is more than happy to help with any issues you may have between sessions. Just booked on the L2 course and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for puppy/dog training

Ozzy, 6 month old vizsla, was a very bouncy pup when we did pet gundogs level 2. Linsday is very professional, a great instructor and has a solution for you to try for whatever issues you might be having. Not keen on zoom but it did make everything easier with less distraction and much warmer. Would definitely recommend.

Lola & I have just completed Gundog Puppy Level 1, & thoroughly enjoyed it. Lindsay is full of knowledge & enthusiasm & the games that she has taught me to play with Lola have really helped me to understand what makes a gundog tick & how to train Lola. I was disappointed when lockdown prevented us from attending the classes in person, but actually it was absolutely fine. Lindsay demonstrated the games with her dog, gave us feedback & then gave us very clear notes, plus access to training videos, to enable us to practice.

Super professional, enjoyable & extremely knowledgeable. Lindsay is friendly & personable, never critical & always willing to help. Any question is answered well & you just know she knows what she’s talking about!  We’ve completed 2 courses & have signed up for Gundog level 1.  Zoom courses have worked really well, as you are able to see the behaviours Lindsay & her dog, Hobbs, want you to do.

We have done two pet gundog courses and grade 1 with Lindsay over the last six months - some in person and some over Zoom. Lindsay is an absolutely amazing teacher and the exercises she teaches have so much practical value (even for our non-working dog). She is amazing at adjusting to the needs of different dogs and giving advice when training isn't going to plan. I can't speak highly enough of these courses and Lindsay!

Lindsay is fabulous! We had a 121 session and then joined for a course, which unfortunately due to lockdown was on zoom. I was sceptical as we wanted face to face, but it really works over zoom, lindsay takes time to answer everyone's queries, ses great exercises that really engaged our pooch and has great advice to navigate tricky dog behaviour! we have signed up for the next course, zoom or in person... we're in!

We've recently completed the Pet Gundog Level 1. The course has been fantastic. Lindsay brakes down each task into small understandable chunks meaning each task is built from the ground up & you can move at the pace appropriate for your dog. There is an emphasis on us as owners understanding our dogs & how to get the most out of them. The change I have seen in copper is huge. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her progress & become more confident in the tasks being asked of her. I have learned to trust in her ability more throughout the course.

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the course. I feel that Dylan and I have come a long way &  I think we have a better bond after doing the course together.

I started the course with no prior knowledge what to expect. On the first lesson I was a bit dubious about whether I would enjoy it as Dylan was a naughty boy. I think the zoom sessions without distractions during the lockdown really helped us both focus. Then he was so much better at the last lesson outside. His heel work is so much better as is his recall.

Would highly recommend the puppy course - Linday is so knowledgeable and her training methods have been really easy to follow...and they work! The Zoom calls have worked really well as you're all training together - the dogs are calmer and there's no standing around waiting for each person to have their turn. Lindsay also offers really useful follow up videos/notes and she's also been very helpful if we have any questions following the sessions. Overall, it's been simple, really fun and effective - looking forward to starting the next course.

Learning from Lindsay and working through the exercises has enabled me to appreciate my dog's capabilities more, learn how to manage her better, strengthen the bond between us, and get so much more from owning a dog.
